The nonprofit supports and administers services to women with substance abuse who have children. After their release from prison, this facility houses the women and their children under 12 for 2 years. The new facility was designed to have a safe court for children to play in the center, with a large "Big House" that contains offices, a community kitchen, and a classroom space for reentry into the workforce. The design promoted individuality so that the residents would get use to having an exterior door, a playground, and laundry facilities. Instead of an interior dorm layout, the idea of fresh air, connecting to nature with healing gardens, and vegetable gardens was central to the design. The roles included programming, space planning, building design, construction administration, and fund-raising.
